About Steady Break
Steady Break is a collection of free anger management tools built on published research. We read the studies, extracted what works, and turned it into tools you can use in 60 seconds or less.
What this is
This is a toolkit. The tools here -- breathing exercises, worksheets, quizzes -- are based on techniques with published research behind them. We cite our sources. We don't make things up.
Everything is free. No paywalls, no accounts, no app download required. Open the tool, use it, close the tab.
What this isn't
This is not therapy. We are not therapists, counselors, or mental health professionals. We don't diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide clinical advice.
If anger is affecting your relationships, your work, or your safety -- or someone else's safety -- please talk to a mental health professional. That's not a brush-off. It's the right move.

How we handle research
Every tool and article on this site references published research. We pull from peer-reviewed journals (JAMA, APA publications, neuroscience research) and translate findings into practical techniques.
We're transparent about what the research says and what our interpretation is. When we cite a study, we include the source. When we're sharing our own perspective, we say so.
